a winter's eve (ahsek's theme) by ahsek novel
SUCH A SILENT beauty/sunart thought of his wife ahsek/she slept with/the grace of a queen/shallow breaths/that whispered his name/how trusted was he/to be her keeper/as she slumbered/he wondered what dreams/wandered in the secret places/of her mind/the ticking of time/never mattered/when the two were together/ahsek’s face was ashen/from the winter frost/yet/still dewy from her youthful cattiness/she/sincerely laughed about that/once her skin chapped and peeled/a new layer always formed/this was a thing/that sunart knew/winter/a season of conclusions and resolutions/there is irony in a birth/here/for winter is also a time of death/it is the final cycle of each year/it is the ending to each beginning/yes/such a silent beauty/ahsek was reserved/with eyes able to see/far past the physical/the elders adored her/all covens respected her/ahsek was a master/sunart loved her as only he could/such a silent beauty/her love/crept along his spine/similar to the artic breeze/seeping into a hollow room/ahsek was his desire/from first glance/she melted the snow/which had enclosed his mind/and enslaved his heart/yes/she was his escape/his truth/his infinite possibilities/his dream and now his reality/sunart was alive and able to love/because of her/ahsek must have heard his thoughts/at that very moment/she opened her eyes/they shared a sweet embrace/she followed/as sunart led the way
